I love how jewelry and accessories completely change an outfit. As long as you have staple pieces of clothing in your closet, you can change your look entirely with jewelry. 

I’m pretty sure there has been a pair of scissors in my hand or some kind of art supply since I can remember. I was cutting my friend’s jeans into shorts in the 4th grade, with or without permission. I have always enjoyed making my friends feel good about looking beautiful, with makeup, razors, and, of course, accessories!

 

And I can thank my two guardians angels, my grandmothers, for that. Each had their own distinct style of individuality. I idolized them and they empowered me to be my unique self and spent time helping me develop my own style.

 

Everyone should have something in their life that they love doing while feeling good doing it. For me, it’s that hug and kiss from my kids, seeing them smiling with their friends, and giving our dog belly rubs. And it’s also the process of creating that necklace, those earrings, that bracelet and the reward completing something to make someone else feel good.
